Nancy Buckley, President
Nancy has been serving the accounting needs of clients for over twenty years. She became a partner at Hertzbach & Company, P.A. in 2016 when Coale, Pripstein & Associates joined the firm. Prior to becoming a partner at Hertzbach, Nancy has been in practice since 1995 and became a partner with Coale/Pripstein in 2008. Nancy has over 20 years of experience providing corporate and partnership income tax preparation and management advisory services to small and mid-sized businesses engaged in a diverse range of industries including construction contractors, professional service firms, and nonprofit organizations.
In addition to assisting business owners and their businesses, she works with individuals and sole proprietors in tax planning, bookkeeping and personal income tax preparation including multi-state income tax returns.
Nancy is a graduate of the University of Maryland at College Park. She is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA). In addition to assisting her clients, Nancy serves on the Archbishop Spalding High School Annual Fund Committee, which helps raise money for the students who attend ASHS. She is also a current board member of Bach in Baltimore.
Cynthia M. Campbell, Vice President
Cynthia M. Campbell, EdD’s background includes a Doctorate of Education from Biola University along with a Master’s from Trinity School for Ministry and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Hawaii. She is also licensed to teach in the State of Maryland. Dr. Campbell has over 20 years of experience in educational and editorial work, including tutoring and teaching with Project Literacy at Howard County Central Library. She is a Plain Language consultant and a Nonprofit Standards for Excellence consultant. She and her husband, Jeff, have lived in Columbia since 2000.
Lisa Jolles, Secretary
Lisa Jolles, along with her husband Brian and a five-person support staff, own and operate Jolles Insurance – an independent agency specializing in life, health, disability, long term care and financial services.. For over 30 years they have been known by their clients for “setting the standard for service” and strive to be the one advisor who understands all their benefits.
Lisa has been interviewed by NPR regarding HealthCare Reform, and has presented to numerous groups on the subject. She is on the Howard County Chamber of Commerce’s Legislative Subcommittee addressing Employment/HR issues. She proudly served as Director of Membership for Business Women’s Network from 2012 -2016. Lisa graduated from Penn State with a B.S. in Marketing
In addition to raising two boys (now 20 and 25), Lisa and Brian believe in giving back to the community. This commitment includes coordinating a weekly community boot camp (Saturday mornings at Centennial Park) as well as Family Wellness Day, an annual health & wellness fair every June. Lisa & her husband are founders of two non-profits: We Promote Health, which serves the community, workplace and schools, and CVSA, an organization that supports those with a rare medical condition, including her own son. They also created the Matzohball Run, whose “character” is turning 13 this year! Proceeds from the run benefit HopeWorks, Dreambuilders and GrassRoots.
Jeannine Jawhar, Treasurer
Jeannine Jawhar, CPA, MAT, became a senior manager at Hertzbach & Company, P.A. in 2016 when Coale, Pripstein & Associates, P.A. joined the firm. Prior to becoming a senior manager at Hertzbach, Jeannine had been in practice since 1994 and had been with Coale/Pripstein since 2009. She is currently licensed by the State of Maryland.
Her experience includes working with individuals and small businesses as a trusted advisor providing tax planning, tax preparation, accounting and consulting services. Jeannine specializes in providing outsourced controller services including cash management, budgeting and forecasting, and financials.
