One of the unique features of BWN is that we are ACTIVE supporters of our Howard County community. Not only do our members support each other as women in the business world, but we also harness the collective power of our membership to support the vital service work of various local organizations -- every month.

This month, help us support Packaged for Success to collect personal care items to place in purses for teenage girls in group homes, shelters, and the foster care system.  The drive begins in November and the purses are delivered before Christmas Day each year.

Since 2007, this annual drive has collected and delivered 5,078 purses to 55 organizations that support teen girls in group homes, foster care, and homeless shelters.

During our November 14 meeting, we will be collecting
  • mouthwash
  • deodorant
  • sanitary napkins
